ALMOST HALF WAY THERE!
Dear Friends of SFWA,
Historically a thriving mecca for artists, writers, and musicians, San Francisco once had affordable spaces for these artists to live, work, perform, or exhibit. Such places are rapidly disappearing. SFWA is one of the few remaining community-based art galleries in the City where local artists may show and sell their work in a welcoming and professionally managed arts space. SFWA remains firmly committed to promoting equity in the arts for all people.
This access, affordability and quality require increasing financial support to sustain SFWA in its vision. To meet fixed expenses and to ensure the continued viability of our historic nonprofit organization, fundraising support is critical.
We are asking you to please make an investment in this vital nonprofit arts organization, in its mission and in its legacy. We believe that the SFWA Gallery is a shared treasure that can continue to grow.

With your support, we can extend our outreach programs, expand our Student Intern Program, and continue to host regular exhibitions/receptions showcasing and selling the work of a great number of artists, and by so doing, expanding the relationship between art and the public that is central to the mission of SFWA.
