Naomi Glixman studied drawing, painting and fine art lithography at New
York University, the Maine College of Art and Design, and through a
private lithographic apprenticeship in Boston. She moved to the Bay Area
in 1978, where she continued to produce lithographs at the Graphic Arts Workshop in
San Francisco.
In 1981, Naomi moved away from the visual arts to pursue careers in jazz
dance, paramedics and education; in 2004 she returned to her first artistic love
and has been drawing and painting ever since. She currently divides her artistic
time between her fulltime job as a Forensic Artist and her studio where,
after more than twenty years of honing her skills in visually describing what others have seen, she
explores ways of portraying the world as she herself experiences it. To view Naomi’s current work,
