Leslie Goldberg is former newspaper writer with the San Francisco Examiner where she was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. She taught writing and reporting at San Francisco State University and at City College of San Francisco. She is a cartoonist and artist whose work has been displayed at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, the Sonoma Art Guild, the Spark Arts Gallery in San Francisco, the Berkeley Animal Rights Center, the Unitarian Universalist Church where she currently has a solo exhibition: The Family of Man. She studied art at Santa Rosa Junior College, Berkeley City College and Laney College. She holds a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College. Her current focus is portraits and story from her imagination. Her favorite artist is Alice Neel. She recently created a Youtube video of her work.
