Maryam Moshiry is an Iranian artist and graphic designer who currently lives and works in the Silicon Valley. She uses Oil and Acrylic for her abstract works which are all inspired by her Iranian background. Her inspiration comes from Persian Poetry and the intricate design of Pesian rugs. Her work is influenced by the abstract expressionist movement, especially the works of Joan Mitchell and Lee Krasner. When she is not working on her oil paintings, she creates paintings using digital software. She uses digital painting as a form of meditation.
