Nathalie Whisman is a sculptor and painter located in San Francisco, CA. She holds a degree in Fine Art from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA. She has worked as a Commercial Sculptor; Sculpting large and small figurative works and architectural elements for Casino’s, themed restaurants and the halloween market. These works are located at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV, Spellbinder’s Comedy Club and the Lost River Bar in Grill in Texas, and Shokawah Indian Casino in Ukiah, CA.
She has been represented by galleries in the Napa Valley, and has done numerous Art Festivals and shows throughout the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. A member of Artspan, she participates in SF Open Studios.
She has painted murals; which include private residences and the Bethany Center for the Arts/Ruth’s Table. In addition to showing and selling her art, she is a member of the SF Sculptor’s Co-op and has taught art workshops for seniors through Project Access and did a three-month Artist-in-Residency with the SFUSD at Spring Valley Elementary Science School in San Francisco.
A strong advocate of empowering women in community, her works can often be representative of women’s struggle and triumph.
