Stephen Kane

Stephen Kane (S.M.Kane Photography) is a photographer and photo-artist living in San Francisco. The City provides inspiration, but his preferred subjects are parks and fog and neighborhoods rather than bridges and cable cars, and he depicts the “intimate landscape” more often than the grand sweep. His abstract work — realized both in-camera and with the tools and palette of digital art software — explores how the camera sees, or can create, what the human eye does not.
