Your support is vital and is especially so at this time.  San Francisco Women Artists (SFWA), designated a SF Legacy Business in recognition of serving the community as a valued cultural asset of our great City for over 100 years, is asking you, our patrons, artists and friends to help us reach our 2025 fundraising goal of $50,000.

Any contribution you make will be doubled in value as we have $25,000 already pledged to match your donation dollar-for-dollar. Your investment is critical in assuring the financial viability of SFWA while supporting its mission and its legacy. These past few years have been a pro-longed period of economic challenges, yet we remain determined to sustain… and to thrive!

Historically, SFWA has provided a community space where a diverse art community can develop and flourish. It continues to believe in the power of the arts to connect people in creating culture by providing equitable opportunities for our artists to thrive, ensuring that the voices and experiences of diverse individuals and communities can be appreciated and celebrated. SFWA provides artists and other nonprofit arts organizations with monthly exhibition opportunities to showcase their work by maintaining an attractive and professionally managed Gallery where artists are both recognized and  their work appreciated and valued.

SFWA remains fully committed to cultivating a broad spectrum of both established and aspiring artists. With your support, we can extend our outreach programs, expand our Mayor’s Youth Intern Program, and continue to host monthly exhibitions and events supporting our local artists, all of which help promote the shared, cultural relationship between artists and the public that SFWA strives to advance.
