“SFWA Online Benefit Auction”

AUCTION: MAY 23 – JUNE 6
You are invited to submit artworks for our upcoming SFWA Online Benefit Auction which will be launched later this month. Proceeds will help provide critical revenue for our San Francisco Women Artists Recovery Fund.
We are asking for your support by donating artworks for the auction. The success of this fundraiser will depend on your generosity as SFWA members. Your contributions are vital to the sustainability of our historic arts organization and will be deeply appreciated.
- Fees: None, for up to 3 images per artist
- Juror: Matt McKinley, McKinley Art Solutions
- 2D Art only: Beautiful, high quality works that are professionally finished for gallery presentation & ready to hang.
- Art Size: Not larger than 48″ on longest side
- Value: Under $2,500
Submission: Each member may submit up to 3 images to donate.
Sizing and image Quality: Please submit high quality images of your work to make it attractive to the bidders.
PRICING: It is important to price your work at a reasonable “Value” – the bidding process will go up in increments
Use of the Notes Section in Smarter Entry (IMPORTANT!):
Please write a description that viewers will see when they click on your image. It should be BRIEF, but include process if not straightforward, materials and type of paper, frame and mat as appropriate. If you are framing, please include size of artwork AND size with frame in your statement. Ex: “20×15″ archival digital print, in 20×30″ black contemporary metal frame with ivory colored mat.”
Delivery: After the Auction is over, SFWA will call the artists to arrange for delivery of the art to the Gallery
